In my beginning, you were there,
Ocean
Land
Life
And clean, crisp air
All unknown, but you were there.

When I do good, you are there,
Peace
Kindness
Love
And being fair
Where your work is done, you are there.

When I sin, you are there.
Lies
Lust
Hatred
My heart to tear
When I stumble, you are there.

When the cost is my life, you'll be there,
Redeemed
Purchased
Saved
From death's strong snare
When it comes time to pay, you'll be there.
